Habitat for Humanity Sarnia/ Lambton grant recognition to the Sarnia-Lambton Real estate Board & Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation
Members of the Kingston and Area Real Estate Association raised $6,500 for the Kingston Youth Shelter through their Annual Charity Bowl-a-thon. Public Relations Committee members Kim Donaldson, Dave Pinnell Jr, and Shawna Stewart delivered the cheque to Kingston Youth Shelter Executive Director Ruth Woodman and staff on May 17th, 2018.
Woodstock, Ont. – On May 2nd, the Woodstock-Ingersoll & District Real Estate Board hosted their 8th Annual REALTORS® Care Food Drive in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Sweaburg for their respective Salvation Army food banks.
There was a total of 115 volunteers plus their families for both events of which 80 were local REALTORS® covering approximately 90 per cent of routes in both towns. “I am very proud of our members and the support they give to this amazing event, which continues to be a great success every year. We want our communities to know that your local REALTORS® are not just real estate representatives, but friends and neighbours who care about our communities,” commented WIDREB President, William Cattle. “I would also like to take the time to personally thank our REALTORS® Care Committee for all their hard work and dedication that they put towards creating such a successful and well received event every year.”
The Southern Georgian Bay Association of REALTORS® recently hosted a REALTOR® Technology & Trades Show at the Blue Mountain Village Conference Centre. In addition to top real estate performers and industry experts presenting their insights and expertise on a variety of technology related topics, the show was sold out with 66 exhibitors showcasing their products and services to an estimated 250 REALTORS®.

Directors of the REALTORS® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound present Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce representatives with a $5,270 grant cheque from the Ontario REALTORS® Care Foundation.
As part of of their 10th Annual Food Drive and Turkey Fundraiser, members of the Kingston and Area Real Estate Association worked together this holiday season to raise money for area food banks.
Hope Awaits Ministries, the staff and volunteers provide practical emotional, physical and spiritual support to anyone who is in need in North Bay. Eva’s Initiatives for Homeless Youth
Eva’s Place is home to the Family Reconnect program which offers proactive, long-term solutions to prevent and reduce homelessness by helping youth re-establish and maintain contact with their families. Its Early Intervention component supports families staying together rather than having at-risk youth enter the shelter system.
Local REALTORS® hit a home run raising $1,281.06 for Southern Frontenac Community Services! On Thursday, September 15th, 2016 participating REALTORS® laced up their cleats at their Annual Charity Lob Ball tournament. On April 7th, 2016, local REALTORS®, their families, friends and associates laced up their bowling shoes for the Kingston and Area Real Estate Association’s 13th Annual Bowl a Thon! An amazing $10,250 was raised for the Kingston Youth Shelter and many thanks are due to everyone who contributed to this successful event.
